Two versions are available for Aladdin 3.0:

The central pane of the home window shows up to four recently used devices, the Offline Configuration section, and the “What’s New” section containing news and video tutorials from the Datalogic world.
At program start-up, to discover connected devices, a quick search is performed on some COM ports and on the last port where a device was detected. If a connected reader is detected, it will be shown on the left pane. Click on the detected device to open its Device Configuration window.
Alternatively, configurations can be created offline. Go to Offline Configuration for more details.
