The Device Detection function is used:

to connect to devices with an interface other than USB COM or RSR232;

if your device has not been identified.

Devices with USB COM or RSR232 interface are automatically detected at start-up and shown in the “Detected devices” list. |
Select “Device Detection” from the upper or left pane of the home window. The following window is displayed:
To search for a device at your disposal, scan the barcode shown on the window and select the “Click to Search” button.
To search for a different device, enter the information required under “Select Connection to search device”.
The detected device(s) will be displayed on the left pane of the home window.
